Lincoln City Centre LN2 1LS This February half term, wrap up warm and get ready for three magical evenings as Frequency Festival returns to Lincoln from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 February 2026. Running daily from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, the free festival will transform the city into a glowing playground of light, sound and imagination, perfect for families looking for something a bit different after dark. Some of Lincoln’s most iconic locations will be reimagined after sunset. From Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral to the Cornhill, City Square, High Street and surrounding streets buzz with creative surprises. Expect illuminated trails, colourful projections and hands-on artworks that invite children (and grown-ups!) to explore, touch, listen and play. Produced by Threshold, Frequency Festival brings together artists from across the UK and around the world, alongside local partners, to create joyful shared experiences in the heart of the city.
