Artist Open Call by Sussex Contemporary and National Trust Standen II Today to Sun 31 May
Closing date Sunday 31st May Standen, West Hoathly Road, East Grinstead RH19 4NE UK-based & UK-connected makers are invited to create contemporary responses to the Arts & Crafts movement. Submissions are welcome across a wide range of media, from textiles & ceramics to furniture, illustration, metalwork & more. Closing 31 May 26 A panel of expert judges, chaired by Ruth Howard, Property Experiences Curator, will select works to be displayed throughout Standen House. This new partnership offers makers the chance to take part in a curated exhibition, have pieces placed within Standen’s historic interiors, and offer their work for sale during the three-month (July, August and September) summer show. Selected creatives may also be invited to join events, talks or workshops throughout the season.
