Ian will be accompanied by Paul who started writing songs after tragically losing his son in 2019. He says it is a form of therapy that keeps him connected and came about by accident one day about a year after. He picked up his guitar, which he hadn't played for many months, and wrote A Year Gone. It then gave him the confidence to continue writing as the song was well received. The songs not only have beautiful melodies but also heartfelt meaningful lyrics. Having played at both Wickham and Victorious festivals in 2025 he is currently recording more songs for his second album.
