Leicester Karate Club 60th Anniversary Free Exhibition
Sat 13 Jun
Free of Charge
10.30am to 4pm
75 Humberstone Gate (Secular Hall) LE1 1WB
Leicester Karate Club’s historical exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the rich legacy of karate in the community. Featuring memorabilia, photographs, and artefacts spanning six decades, the exhibition highlights the evolution of karate from its early days to its present status. Displays include story boards, tournament trophies, and personal stories from past and present members, illustrating the dedication and discipline that define the club. I would like to invite you to come along on Saturday 13th June. Our small exhibit will be ongoing from 10.30 through to 4pm and is free of charge to attend. We are expecting a few “older” members who trained in the club from the early days of its humble beginnings as well as current members and the general public. The exhibit will be held at the Leicester Secular Hall building’s main hall. (Karate classes will be running as usual in the basement of the building as they have done for the last 60 years!)...
