Join local guide John Morrissey on a fascinating 4-mile circular walk exploring the northern reaches of historic Belper, looping around to Dam Side and returning to the Market Place. Along the way, you’ll follow secretive channels, tucked-away paths, and forgotten corners that even many locals have never seen. • Hidden waterways • Industrial heritage • Unexpected routes • Stories that shaped a town Most of the paths are easy and enjoyable — but be warned: some of the channel steps are surprisingly steep, adding a touch of adventure to the experience.
