£100 and includes lunch, coffee and tea The Oxfordshire Museum OX20 1SN About the course On this exciting double workshop you will learn to weave two sculptural pieces for your garden, first making a 5ft plant wigwam perfect for growing beans, sweet peas, clematis and other climbing plants and the second, a giant poppy seed head to adorn your flower beds. Using simple weaving techniques this workshop is a great introduction to weaving so perfect for beginners and returners - though some hand strength is needed to make the most of this workshop. These workshops are suitable for beginners, but please be aware that weaving can be physically demanding on the hands. People with reduced hand strength, arthritis, or similar conditions may find the activity challenging. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide additional space for helpers or support persons in the workshop area. About the Tutor Rachel Harwood Drawing on my experiences of wildlife and nature, I use British grown willow from Somerset to create sculptures for the home and garden. Connecting with the natural environment is my passion and I try to capture the movement of nature in my sculptures.
