Prepare to be swept away by the sounds and magic of the silver screen. Who Are Candela Strings? Candela Strings are not your average string quartet. These four conservatoire-trained musicians have graced some of the world's most prestigious stages - from the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Royal Albert Hall to Wigmore Hall and the Shanghai Symphony Hall - yet they remain proudly rooted in the communities that shaped them. Cellist Harry Broom freelances with the BBC Philharmonic and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Violinist Anna Tulchinskaya tours internationally with the Manchester Collective and United Strings of Europe. Violist Liam Brolly has served as Guest Principal with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. And violinist Emma Donald - founding member of the Fyrish String Quartet and an accomplished composer in her own right - brings a rare creative fire that few performers can match.
