As recalled in his acclaimed book It's All Too Much in which he details such memories as: • Seeing the Beatles at Hammersmith Odeon in 1965 along with his family. • Being told off by John Lennon during his first close-up encounter with a Beatle. • Gate-crashing the Yellow Submarine film premiere in 1968 and sitting directly behind the Fab Four. • Winning tickets to their planned TV show which was abandoned in favour of the rooftop concert. • Going to Ringo's Hampstead home with a pal in 1970 and asking him out for a pint. • Introducing his mum to George Harrison at a Royal Albert Hall concert in1974. • Spending time with John's legendary Aunt Mimi after Lennon's assassination. • Presenting the SongLink prizes at LIPA in Liverpool every year with Paul McCartney present. • And many more incredible stories!!
