The Eton May Day Fete is a free, family-friendly event, open to everyone. Whether you are a long-time resident of Eton and Eton Wick or visiting the area, you are warmly welcome to join us.

12 noon - 4pm Pavilion, Eton Recreation Ground, South Meadow Lane SL4 6EW Eton Town Council is delighted to invite residents, families, and visitors to the Eton May Day Fete, a major community celebration marking the 200th anniversary of the historic act that secured Lammas Land for the people of Eton and Eton Wick – The Glorious Majority. This special occasion will also celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished Eton Pavilion and unveiling the new Lammas Land Boards. About the Event The Eton May Day Fete brings together local residents, organisations, schools, and visitors to honour our shared heritage and enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities. Lammas Land has long been an important part of Eton’s history. The act that protected this land ensured it would remain accessible for community use, recreation, and enjoyment for generations to come. This celebration recognises that legacy while looking ahead to the future. What’s On Visitors can enjoy a wide range of attractions throughout the day, including: - Morris dancers and traditional entertainment - Punch and Judy shows - Children’s activities - Animal farm - Classic car displays - Fun dog competition - Live music and performances - Community stalls - Food and refreshments Location The event will take place at and around the newly refurbished Eton Pavilion.
