Frida Kahlo is a phenomenon, and a new blockbuster transatlantic exhibition from the Museum of Fine Arts Houston & Tate “Frida the Making of an Icon” opening at Tate Modern in June, is the occasion not just for a re-release of the excellent Exhibition on Screen film directed by Ali Ray about her life and work but a re-make to include material from the new exhibition and commentary from its curators.
