Regis School of Music 46 Sudley Road PO21 1ER
A recital of timeless melodies from South America, Spain, the Baroque era and the movies. Serenata Guitar Trio are dear friends of Sasha and long standing supporters of West Sussex Guitar Club with John Mills performing to a capacity audience at one of the club's first recitals at The Old School House in 1994. John has a long and distinguished career within the guitar world as a performer, educator and author of many articles to numerous guitar magazines. Dutch-born Cobie Smit is one of the most celebrated guitarists from The Netherlands, well-known for her fine, delicate tone and pure technique. Richard Mills gave his debut performance for us in 2014 after having studied the guitar for only four years , being largely self taught. He then went on to study the guitar at Bergen Music college and is also an accomplished bass player. This promises to be an evening of memorable melodies, warm smiles, gentle humour and a time to just sit still and enjoy. Programme to include music by Handel, Faure, Ibert, Giuliani, Granados, Frank Bridge amongst others. Complimentary glass of juice or wine for over 18's in the interval Free Car parking available adjacent to Regis School of Music or along Sudley Road after 6pm 3 minute walk from Bognor station...
