In celebration of Insect Week, this walk will help you discover how to find, observe, and identify invertebrates in the wild. If you’ve ever wondered how to distinguish a shieldbug from a beetle, or how to identify common species of woodlice, this tour is for you. You’ll learn how to use a hand lens and sweep net, how to search for and observe bugs in their natural habitats, and pick up practical tips for identifying different invertebrate groups. Whether you're a complete beginner or already curious about the tiny world beneath your feet, this walk is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the small creatures that keep our wetlands thriving.
