A heartfelt Nordic tale for 3+ about our relationship to nature, friendship and the places we call home. Our story begins ten thousand years ago, in an icy fjord on the northernmost island. The youngest in a family of giants played with pebbles on the beach. One pebble was thrown too far, one powerful sea troll woke, one gigantic wave rose… And Bjorna was gone. Time passed. Plants grew and died. Miners broke the earth, turned the soil, dug deeper and deeper for riches, until… With an ear-splitting boom and an earth-shaking quake, the hill awakened! A puppet show in a suitcase about our relationship with nature, friendship, and the places we call home. For adults and children aged 3 and up! Post-Show Workshop Also Available! Make a troll inspired by the main character of the show! Expected run time of the workshop is 45 minutes. Ticket required for each workshop attendee, whether participating or not. Audience feedback: “This!! Small but perfectly formed – and performed” “What a beautiful show. I was transported far away – a feast for the senses and lots to think about too. Thank you” “Fantastic! Just beautiful and delicate…” “Such a beautiful and heartfelt story! I was captivated from start to finish..The puppets and sets were gorgeous, so textured and colourful. A wonderful watch!” “Utterly captivating – a set filled with tiny little works of art. Magic” Duration: 30 minutes, no interval...
