Quy country park Stow Cum Quy CB25 9AF GATES OPEN at 8:30 AM The Ancient Oak Fayre is the perfect event with something for everybody. Visitors are invited to come along and enjoy a wide range of fabulous demonstrations, including an equestrian stunt team, Devilstick Peat a medieval jester, battle re-enactments, jousting, falconry, Pentacle Drummers, Daridel ( new this year), Pennyless, The Cambridge Waits, Damian and Luna Lionheart. Have a picture taken with the Watermill Wolves. New this year ferret racing and cuddles. Viking Anglo - Saxon and Medieval living history and battles. Have a go archery, axe throwing and Knight school. Hold a wild bird with wild touch. Guests can also take selfies with real-life swimming mermaids, offering a completely immersive and mesmerising experience for all ages. ? Younger visitors are invited to explore the Fairy Glade, the most magical part of the Fayre, where a variety of wonderful children’s workshops are included in the ticket price. Watch a magic bubble show with Bubbles the Pixie. There will be Face-painting with Tinkerbelle and hair braiding with Beeze braids. Listen to a story In the Fairy glade there will also be a fancy-dress competition for men, women and children with money prizes. Adult workshops, along with a craft market, will be running throughout the event, alongside l Live music from a range of performers and groups. For those feeling hungry or thirsty, there will be a great choice of food and refreshments available, including a beer and mead tent. There will also be a fancy-dress competition for men, women and children. Additional attractions include storytelling, Bubbles the Pixie, hair braiding and face painting.
