Chapel Barn’s annual theatre festival returns bigger and better than ever, with four new shows created by South-West based theatre companies, performed in an intimate converted barn theatre space. COMEDY: Cavalier! - Friday 19th June, 7:30pm England is divided. Parliament’s a mess. Religious fear is driving the country apart. After more and more scandals, growing numbers of people want the royals out of the picture. It’s 1642, or thereabouts – the beginning of the Civil War (the English one) and things must come to a head! A hilarious, interactive historical comedy brought to you by i.e. theatre. CHILDREN & FAMILIES: The Thing About Goats - Sunday 21st June, 2:30pm Goats, mice, cheese and bellringing combine in mountainside mayhem at a puppet picnic. COMEDY: The Dame Show - Sunday 21st June, 6:45pm A bold new theatre show masquerading as a TV game show, tackling women’s health with humour and honesty.
