Trestival is a St Albans Youth Theatre Showcase celebrating the outstanding drama work taking place in and around the city. This year's event features three compelling performances: Mods and Gonsters, a devised piece from the Trestle School of Drama's Advanced class; Mephisto, performed by Marlborough Science Academy; and A Lesson (from me to you), a selection of scenes from a trilogy of work written by Megan Jenkins, informed by and first performed by young people from Best Theatre Arts.
Trestival marks an exciting first for Trestle Arts Base, bringing together young performers from across the local area under one roof for a shared celebration of youth theatre. It is a brilliant reminder of the creativity and talent thriving in St Albans, and a wonderful opportunity for audiences to experience some of the very best drama being made by and for young people in the city...
