If you are wanting to learn to sing you'll find a happy place with us in the Rock Choir.
The Lisburn, Belfast Rock Choir is led by Co. Antrim based musician and teacher Clare Galway. The choir is for all ages and all the local Co. Antrim branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible events like Flash Mobs and Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Co. Antrim music and food festivals.
Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Clare tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 21 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir is a way for people to express themselves musically in an environment which normally would not allow them to do so. I bet a pound to a pinch of salt there are thousands of guys and girls in the UK itching to sing but are too embarrassed or worried what others may think, and let's face it, if it makes people happy then come on UK lets get behind them!!! Rock Choir is the wonderful innovative idea which is the brain child of Caroline Redman Lusher who I have had the privilege of working with over the past 12 months. Live the dream guys.' - Gary Chilton (Double-platinum selling singer with 'The Soldiers')
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement...
