Join me for a three-day hike from Hebden Bridge to Horton-in-Ribblesdale along the Pennine Way! Discover the UK's oldest national trail with women who want to spend more time outdoors, switch off from the everyday, and share an experience in a safe and supportive environment.
This walk is designed to break down barriers for women who want to spend more time outdoors, try something new, and build confidence in body and mind. When I walked the Pennine Way myself in 2023, I didn't see any other female hikers on the trail. And whilst there are many reasons for this that I can't change (caring/childcare responsibilities or workplace commitments), some things I can (confidence, knowledge, experience).
If you're feeling unsure about taking on a multi-day hike, you're not alone. Many women experience what we call 'the confidence gap' when stepping into something new. So, if you have any questions or concerns about signing up, please reach out.
