Join Ken Doughty to learn about the rich history of brush making, both a local industry to Diss and a staple market across the country for centuries.
Ken, of the Society of Brushmakers' Descendants is coming to Diss Museum's Heritage Open Days to deliver talks on the heritage of brush making, both as a staple and long-loved part of Diss and district history but as a skill treasured across the country. Discussing topics of the Aldrich Brush factory in Diss, the Tramp Route across England along which brush makers would travel, and secret societies that ran through the craft, Ken's one hour talk will be a treasure trove of information!
