Join Chiltern Open Air Museum for an immersive living history event exploring what life was like in the Iron Age. Meet costumed re-enactors and skilled crafts people. Discover how they made clothes and what plants they grew to make natural dyes. Learn where Iron Age people got their food, how they cooked it, and how they stored and kept it cool. Find out about the crafts and skills they used for everyday life. Explore an Iron Age roundhouse and see and smell what it would have been like. How did Iron Age people keep safe and defend themselves? Come along and find out.
