Heritage Open Day: Find out more about the cemetery past & present, the history of local people buried in or linked to the cemetery, take a look around the old chapel and join in on a guided tour of Commonwealth War Graves in the cemetery. Carisbrooke Cemetery - known locally as Mount Joy - will be hosting a Heritage Open Day where visitors have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the cemetery and the people linked to its beginnings, along with the history and legacies of local people laid to rest there.
