Heritage Open Day: Be inspired by this captivating film which brings to life the work of landscape architecture students who were invited to imagine park proposals for Berwick’s Old Town Walls, connecting the Living Barracks with its living landscapes and communities. Taking inspiration from selected artefacts from the Town Museum’s collection master's students in Landscape Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art created this 15 minute film which brings the everyday histories contained within each object to life within the park proposals exploring more specifically some of the Walls’ flankers; small, enclosed spaces which were used to protect the flanks of the fortifications, built to defend the strategic border between Scotland and England...
