Heritage Open Day: The Canterbury Cemetery Friends invite everyone to our second annual Heritage Open Day on 20 September 2026. Hear stories about an assortment of noteworthy individuals whose stories will resonate with history lovers and literary enthusiasts alike. The Canterbury Cemetery Friends Open Day will feature tours that go back in time. Stops during the tour will reveal poignant tales about people whose modest lives were shaped by significant historic events--some were even touched by fame--during some of the century’s most turbulent times. Our popular tree tour will also be on offer.

In addition to the tours, there will be refreshments for sale and a plant stall (cash donations requested)...
