Heritage Open Day: Guided tour of the Corn Exchange and Town Hall. Three guided tours of the Corn Exchange, Town Hall and other parts of the Municipal Buildings to see the recent refurbishment works and what they've revealed about this important buildings history and development. The new technology installed to make the building as energy efficient as possible will be explained.
The tours will conclude in the Council Chamber where visitors can see the Town Council's memorabilia and civic regalia, including the maces, some of which dates back hundreds of years.
Each tour last one hour and there are guided tours starting at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm...
