Heritage Open Day: Roots in a Place is a group exhibition at Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield, about Derbyshire, its places, customs and people. The Roots in a Place exhibition features artists based in and around Derbyshire, and brings together a diverse range of artwork, photography, film and ephemera related to the experiences of roots and belonging.
Richard Bradley has been researching, attending and documenting the customs and traditions of Derbyshire and the Peak District for a decade, amassing a collection of historical material. He will be exhibiting his modern-day photographs alongside material produced by the anonymous documentarians of yesteryear.
