A colourful, uplifting, family-friendly event is coming to Aylesbury on Sunday 27 September.
Aylesbury Festival of Lights is a community event inspired by music, dance, food, costumes, and adornments that form part of the Hindu Diwali celebrations.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages and cultures to come together for a taste of India in the heart of Aylesbury!
The afternoon is packed with live performances and activities, and ends at dusk with a lantern parade. You can try on a colourful sari, learn Bollywood dance moves, hear the Dhol drummers, taste massala chai, make a lantern, and see our community-created giant peacock sculpture. So, expect a feast for the senses!
Pre-booking is advised, as space in the Discover Bucks Museum is limited. Tickets can be booked at holycowcommunityevents.org/...
