We are delighted to say that our May Fair will take place again this year and we look forward to welcoming visitors back. We will have crafts in a marquee behind the village hall. In church a display of cards made by Higham schoolchildren and a small second hand book sale. On Saturday we will have puppet shows and Pendle Community Orchestra plus a classic car show. On Sunday puppet shows again plus birds of prey and ferret racing and a ukulele band. Monday will include maypole dancing performed by children from Higham school, puppet shows and a farmers market. On Monday the local Brownie Group will be providing outdoor activities for the children. Lancashire Wildlife Trust will be there each day. Of course the event wouldn’t be complete without the great hot food and refreshments served daily in the village hall where there will also be a raffle and children’s craft table. In addition on Monday there will be a chocolate tombola supporting our May King’s charity. You’ll be able to buy an ice cream outside from Slater’s ice cream van. Come along and join us - we look forward to seeing you!...
