Margie Tolstoy started out as a Kindergarden teacher in her native Holland. While her two daughters, Eline and Maya, were growing up (in Galloway!), she became an Open University Student. When Eline and Maya Tolstoy went to university in Edinburgh and became scientists, like their father - Ivan Tolstoy, Margie studied theology in Cambridge and became a theologian. She now lives in Wigtown and this year teaches a U3A course on Medieval Mystics...
