Beningbrough Hall, Gallery and Gardens - Yorkshire! Achievement, Grit and Controversy

From Jodie Whittaker the new Doctor Who, to the notorious Gunpowder Plot conspirator Guy Fawkes, discover the faces that have helped create the reputation of Yorkshire. Who would you include to demonstrate the countys reputation' Step into the Saloon Galleries and discover works from artists such as Hepworth, Moore and Hockney. See portraits of well-known Yorkshire faces like former chat show host Michael Parkinson and boxer Nicola Adams, with maybe a few surprises mixed in. Artworks are on loan from the National Portrait Gallery, The Arts Council Collection, York Art Gallery and artist Olivia Hemingway. The displays of over 20 portraits, prints, photographs and sculptures are spread over three historic rooms. Booking Not Needed.
