INTO FILM FESTIVAL - Bohemian Rhapsody

This foot-stomping musical explores and celebrates the life of musical icon Freddie Mercury, front-man of rock-band Queen. With their revolutionary sounds and unforgettable music, the British bands rise to global domination was remarkable, culminating in a legendary concert at Londons Wembley Stadium as part of Live Aid in 1985. Mercurys lifestyle was often outrageous, and complicated, ending in tragedy when he became one of the most high-profile victims of the AIDS crisis in the early 1990s at a time when homophobia was rife in the media. The film pays loving tribute to one of the most enduring, brave, and complex public figures of the late 20th century.
