A rambling double-walled garden laid out in the 1870s with far-reaching views to the South Downs. Illustrates a substantial Victorian garden with fruit, vegetables and flower borders, rose garden, many shrubs, herbaceous plants, apple and pear orchard and large productive greenhouses. Gravel paths, some naturalised with white foxgloves and campanulas, wind through many parts of the garden.
