In this workshop you will learn techniques to make a frame basket, for foraging in hedgerows, vegetable gardens, holding eggs or textiles. Your choice, and perfect for those Easter eggs everyone will have very soon! In the lovely setting of MadHatters Campsite, Jane will take you through all the techniques necessary to make your piece and everyone will go home with a finished structure they can be proud of.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those who have done some willow weaving before. Maximum 8 places enable a really good learning experience. All tools and materials are supplied.
Jane has experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs. This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 11, children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
Additional things you might like to bring; Notebook, pens or pencil, Garden Wire, Scissors and String, Sharp Knife – Stanley or Craft, Gardening gloves.
You will need to have a reasonable amount of strength in your hands to be able to work with the willow. Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.
Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.

The workshop takes place in a shelter, not indoors, please wear appropriate outdoor clothes.
