Heritage Open Day: The Park will open Storey Gardens (a 3 acre historic walled garden, newly restored). Inside you will discover our 'High Tea & Harvest' themed event to acknowledge Sir George T Staunton's role in the tea trade, plus much more! Storey Gardens will open it's gate to visitors and inside you can find out about the history of Sir George Staunton and his connection to the tea trade in China. You can also: - take part in some tea tasting - buy lovely cakes and refreshments from our new tearooms - purchase lovely homegrown produce and plants from the Right to Work team - find out our plans to create a sustainable garden centre - use our apple presse (please bring own apples) - craft activities for the family - find out about our community orchard
