RSPB Illustrated Natural History Talk

White Hart Barn, Bay Path, Godstone RH9 8DT East Surrey RSPB meet at The White Hart Barn in Godstone at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month. At the October meeting our Leader, John Lawrence will take us through some of his “Highlights of Colombia”. Based on two trips made in 2024 he will show birds and other wildlife he came across on his travels around Bogota, the surrounding Andean Mountains and Magdalena Valley and on towards the northern coast around Santa Marta and Cartagena. Be prepared for many colourful hummingbirds, tanagers and some hard to find endemics and mammals, including the real Paddington bear. Admission £5, children £1. Refreshments at half-time. Visitors including non members of the RSPB are most welcome. On request, in return for a contribution to the RSPB we also give illustrated bird talks to local groups, schools, or youth clubs, plus we run a free monthly bird watching field trip and attend local community fairs...
