Heritage Open Day: Our post-war church is of a distinctive double-deck design, with the church occupying the first floor above the parish hall at ground level. Double-deck churches (often church above schoolrooms) were usually built when available space was limited or land price was high. Neither was the case when St Christopher's was planned.
