Running 1 June to 9 September, witness how much the landscape at The Vyne changes as the seasons come and go and submit your own snaps in a photography competition by 13 August. Photographers of all abilities can get ready to take their best landscape shots in our competition.
Find out the conservation challenges involved when changing the layout of a historic house. Working with centuries-old objects, the team must meticulously plan each stage of the installation of the new layout in the house in order to safely rearrange the collection for visitors to enjoy.

Another first for the festival this year is our family concert. Our new education co-ordinator, Kathy Hart who studies at the RNCM, will be delivering workshops at schools in the local area. Overton Photographic Club is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an exhibition over the late May bank holiday.

Winchfield Festival is a wonderful festival of music which takes place over 8 nights in June this year. We have outstanding musicians playing a range of classical and modern music so there really is something for everyone.
Visit Hazeley Heath at dusk to hear and see the mysterious nightjar. This nocturnal summer visitor inspired a host of peculiar stories and strange country names like "fern owl" or "goatsucker", or the eerie "corpse-fowl".
In reality, these birds are pretty odd as well!

The location of the 1976 film ’The Eagle Has Landed’ is an apt venue for Mapledurham at War Re enactors from all over the country will converge on the beautiful Mapledurham Estate to set up camp as if it were during World War 2 for the entire weekend.
This year Swallowfield is offering nine gardens to visit. A number are in the village itself, others are nearby, so there is a mix of walking to some, with those in different directions needing a car or bicycle to reach them comfortably.
Spring Pond is full of colour coordinated borders, with an abundance of roses and clematis, while hornbeam, yew and box hedges add structure to the garden. There is a pond with a wide variety of marginal plants, an arboretum full of ornamental trees, and a conservatory with Mediterranean and tropical plants.
This beautiful church, built by Sir William Nicholson in 1878, will be the venue for stunning floral displays reflecting the lines and verses of All Creatures Great and Small. There will be a special childrens’ corner imaginitvely created by the pupils of Froxfield Primary School.
On the Upper Test with water meadows and wooded valleys, this garden offers herbaceous borders, bog and Mediterranean plants as well as a replanted orchard and two small arboretums. Features incl early bulbs, species tulips, Japanese prunus, peonies, wisteria, irises, roses, and semi-tropical planting.
