Enjoy 3 very different gardens in this new group opening. Quarry End is a 1½ acre woodland garden developed over 18 years on the site of an ancient quarry. It incorporates a newly developed woodland, a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, a fernery and ornamental vegetable plot.
Charming C18 walled garden, redesigned with herbaceous border, ponds, mature trees, standard and climbing roses, vegetable garden, fruit trees, lawns and grassy paths. This is a garden in change and work has progressed since the garden opened for the NGS last year.
Play In A Week will be running from Monday 20th – Friday 24th August, (10am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 10am – 6.30pm on Friday)

The event is focused in and around The 1940s Farm and tells the story of life on the Home Front and the vital role the British countryside played during the Second World War.
