James Martin at Denby Pottery Village on Sunday, 29th April
Denby Pottery Village will be hosting two Spring Cookery Demonstrations by James Martin on Sunday, 29th April at its popular Visitor Centre adjacent to Denby Pottery. Andy Twigge, Radio Presenter, will be the compere so it promises to be a fun event.
Free to visit, the event is an opportunity for families to pop into the lambing sheds and see some of the scores of lambs that have been born at Farnah House Farm, Wirksworth Road, near Duffield, this season.
The first lambs arrived on the farm on 9th April and around 130 are expected over the next three weeks.

Contra dancing is an evening of fun, energetic dancing in the same style as English Ceilidh. A caller first explains the movements and then prompts you during the dance. Contra dance is an American version of English Ceilidh dancing but features lively flowing movements.
