Join Beach Bonkers from 10am to 12pm to discover your own beach treasures. Sizewell Beach is great for finding fossils and a cracking example of our special Suffolk shingle. There’s also the chance to handle some more unusual beachcombing finds. NOTE: We will walk a fair way.

There was no garden at Gedgrave until 1977. Instead, there was a grass bank and a wartime Nissen hut. With no shelter the views were terrific, but so was the wind. We built brick walls and planted quite extensive yew hedges creating a number of rooms in the garden. A mound was created in 2012.
