Artists and makers around Rutland will be opening their studios on weekends in June, also there will be an exhibition showing works by local artists at the Rutland Museum in Oakham from 23rd May to 16th June (usual museum opening times, see website) Most works will be for sale.

Our garden tour hosted by our Head Gardener Andrew Jones is a must for gardening enthusiasts. This popular tour takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and can accommodate a group of up to 20 people. Andrew’s horticultural and historical knowledge of the garden will have the visitor gripped from start to finish.
The will be our 4th Food and Drink Festival in Stamford, following the success of previous years, we will returning to Stamford. The setting will once again be The Meadows, beside the River Welland, to celebrate the best of local, regional, national and international products.
Stamford flower Club invite you to enjoy talented demonstrator , Shirley Henderson, create at least 5 artistic flower arrangements on the theme ’A Night on the Town’. She will also be passing on tips and telling anecdotes. Large screen video to enhance details. All the arrangements are raffled.
The gardens are at their peak in June. Whilst the walled kitchen garden shows signs of a harvest to come, our two other walled gardens and adjoining cedar lawn garden are full of colour and texture, all working together to create a summer scene that feels warm and summery, even on the dullest days.
