A National Trust Event: Try your hand at all the things archaeologists do. A variety of activities every 3rd Saturday of the month. Saturday, 20th August 2011 - Young Archaeology Club. Belton House 1930s Family Weekend. Archaeology in the 1930s; Puzzles and activities. Our programme for the coming months includes:- Sat 17th September - How do Archaeologists record digs and excavations? Sat 15th October - Have a go stratigraphy and sections. Sat 19th November - Puzzle over some pottery "finds" from an excavation.. Meets every 3rd Saturday of the month in the Discovery Centre. Children to be accompanied by an adult please.
