Choral Contemplations - Choral Mass
This is a Past Event and has been Archived.
New for 2011 – a series of early evening services and recitals, performed by Glasgow University’s acclaimed Chapel Choir in the stunning setting of the University’s Memorial Chapel. The perfect way to end your working day, these short, reflective services and recitals take place at 6pm every Tuesday during term time. Loosely following the seasons of the church year, they take inspiration from the festivals and saints’ days that fall around each performance date. Tonight's service is part of the city's Lentfest and features the Scottish premieres of 3 pieces by James MacMillan: Tota Pulchra Es; Missa Dunelmi; and Videns Dominus.
Entry to services and recitals is free and all are very welcome, whatever your background or beliefs. This service begins at 6:00pm and will last for around an hour.
