Well it’s that time of year again and the Mawbray Entertainers have been rehearsing all through the dark days of Winter to present their adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz”. Dorothy awakes in Oz to find that her bed has fallen on and unfortunately killed the Wicked Witch of the East and after the ruby wellies magically wind their way onto her feet Dorothy must embark on a journey across Oz to meet the all powerful Wizard. Along the way Dorothy will encounter the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and his long suffering girlfriend Tin Woman not forgetting to mention her most evilness The Wicked Witch of the West and her evil dim witted sister the Wicked Witch of the South.
