Wednesday 22 February The Garage Youth Theatre Company presents a Double Bill One Million Tiny Plays About Britain Written by Craig Taylor, these short, evocative works are based on overheard conversations in cities and towns across the country. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, they reveal the triumphs, disasters, horrors and joys of twenty-first century Britain. The Grandfathers A new play written by Rory Mullarky for this year's National Theatre Connections Festival. Directed by Carrie Mansfield, this is an emotive insight into the minds of young people preparing to be soldiers. Based on real people, it touches on what it means for individuals lose their sense of self to become part of a whole.
