Art in the Garden at The Alnwick Garden

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Following the success of the Turner Prize 2011, hosted by BALTIC, The Alnwick Garden is calling on all ambitious finger painters and their families this February half-term, to join BALTIC and their team of professional artists, for the ‘Art in the Garden’ event, running from Thursday 16th – Saturday 18th February. Inspired by the goals and aspirations of Athletes taking part in the London Olympics 2012, participants will get the chance to explore design techniques when creating line drawings reflecting their dreams and aspirations. The drawings created at The Alnwick Garden will be used to produce a giant banner which will be on display outside the BALTIC in the run-up to the Olympic celebrations this summer - a true accolade for any aspiring artist!

Daily activity from 11am - 4pm in The Alnwick Garden

The Alnwick Garden, Denwick Lane, Alnwick, Northumberland Northumberland NE66 1YU

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
