Cheltenham Bournside School Spring Concert: Nelson Mass, Zadok the Priest and other works.
Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre under musical director John Clift present a concert of popular choral and instrumental works with the Bournside Community Choir, school pupils, orchestra and soloists. The main work will be Haydn's stirring Imperial Nelson Mass, dedicated to the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte's Fleet at Alexandria by Admiral Lord Nelson in 1798. Other works include Handel's anthem Zadok the Priest.
7.30pm - Tickets £7 adults (£5 concessions and children) can be ordered by telephone from the school on 01242 235555, from Christ Church Office, or on the door.
