St.Stephen's Church Annual Rushbearing Service
Rushbearing is a tradition dating back hundreds of years, whereby the old rushes that carpeted the church floor for parishoners to sit upon, were replaced with newly cut ones from the neighbouring fields. This was a time for the congregation to reflect and renew their faith.
