A Viennese New Year Concert given by the Oadby and Wigston Orchestra
Our now traditional New Year concert will take place this coming Saturday, January 11th, at Abington Academy, Station Road, Wigston at 7.30 pm. It will feature the soprano soloist Belinda Morley. The programme will include well-known and less-than-familiar pieces by Lehar, Suppe and members of the Strauss family, Johann in particular, of course!! It will end with the favourites 'Blue Danube' Waltzes and the 'Radetsky March'.
