After two successful opera festivals in 2009 and 2011, and after a gap of eight years, we are delighted to present the third festival, Hinckley Opera Festival 2019, two weeks of exciting events generously sponsored by Arts Council England.
A free event, a masterclass taken by renowned voice teacher and vocal coach, David Barrell, with one of Britain’s leading accompanists, Nigel Foster.
In the morning younger singers, aged 30 and under, have each prepared an aria especially for this masterclass.
Come and feast yourself on some exceptional music, featuring singers from the Royal Opera and English National Opera and sample some of the cakes we will be serving in our new coffee shop. All proceeds will go to our Compassion Ministries, serving the most vulnerable people in our city.
Our 3rd year hosting this quaint event set in the beautiful halls of the Loughborough endowed campus. With 50 antique, vintage and collectable traders who all share your passion for that special find. Free parking, dogs welcome, Great British tea and treats served.
