Macclesfield and Bollington United Reformed Church

Heritage Open Day: The church, which is a Grade II listed building, was built in 1877 to the design of C.O.Ellison of Liverpool, and succeeds a smaller, more modest, church building erected in 1788, which lies behind the church in Townley St. The original buildings also included, from 1806, a Sunday school which at one times served about 600 pupils.
